Let’s get started…

I wanted to share with you how the Project Success Strategy works. This is our most popular 90 day program, using our model for project success. Our clients are seeing significant reduction in the number and cost of project nonconformity, increased profitability and customer satisfaction all within 90 days!

How does it work?

Our Project Success Strategy is built on 3 fundamental pillars.

  1. Knowing the Project Specific Requirements
  2. Controlling the Project Production; and,
  3. Implementing Project Improvement.

Project Requirements

We’re not denying that you probably have some sort of corporate system (e.g ISO 9001). That’s great…that means that generally speaking you have a framework to get from a hypothetic point a to a hypothetic point b. We often hear things like “our corporate office deals with our management system”….yup…we’re not denying that either. Your corporate office deals with the corporate system.

We don’t care about that. Leave that to the corporate office and the external certification body to deal with.

What we care about is what matters most for your project. The Contract & Specifications. No longer are we in the realms of the hypothetical…we have a real here and now requirement.

We work with your team to pull apart and analyse what your real life here and now requirements are in that Contract and reference documents (like specifications or other product standards) and figure out how to take that generic corporate system and turn it into a meaningful project specific plan, that will actually get used.

Project Production

Here’s where things start to get super fun. Now we understand the project requirements and the deliverables, we’ve developed that road map to get the work done, here’s where we use your construction program over the next 90 days to target high risk activities. We work with your team to develop project specific construction procedures to deliver the work faster, safer, smarter and cheaper to the highest workmanship and conformity standards.

We’ll use these activities to walk your team through meaningful output analysis, providing them with a whole new toolbox and skillset to apply risk-based-thinking to ask the right questions to measure project performance. They’ll also get the opportunity to get a feel for what to expect during an external audit, as we perform an audit as if we were a 2nd or 3rd party coming to site.

Project Improvement

There’s no point collecting data for the sake of it, or ticking boxes that lead to nowhere. We work with your team to develop new problem solving skills, and provide them with new resources and tools they can use for effective problem solving, using real examples on the project as we go. Once they can see their project performance, understand how to prioritise and understand problems, and apply their new problem solving skills, they can implement our set of success accelerators and slingshot the project success!

Watch the video below for a quick walkthrough of our project success model.
